I thought the desk was beyond hope after the severe water damage. Frank's name came up in conversation with an Antique dealer friend of mine. After Frank's visit to review the desk I was hopeful. The chair was literally a basket case. There were others in the set so I decided to have it fixed. The cost was surprisingly reasonable for what I imagined was a very difficult task. I now have a restored set of family chairs that we all love. And now there is a new chapter to the meaning they hold for us.
